Born Tyler Marenyi in Stamford, CT and raised in North Carolina, NGHTMRE is the genre-defying producer and DJ who’s gone from anonymous SoundCloud uploads to setting fire to the world’s biggest stages. After earning a finance degree from Elon University, he bet it all on music—moving to Los Angeles and diving headfirst into the scene.
Early trap and house remixes of Skrillex, Tiësto, and Rae Sremmurd caught ears fast, but it was “Street”—a bass-heavy anthem championed by Skrillex at Ultra 2015—that changed everything. Signed shortly after to Mad Decent, NGHTMRE cemented his spot with collaborations alongside Slander, a breakout performance at EDC Las Vegas, and his explosive debut NGHTMRE EP in 2016.
Since then, he’s become a staple in the global bass scene, known for massive collabs with artists like Dillon Francis (“Need You”), and genre-blurring sets that blend trap, dubstep, future bass, and melodic energy with flawless intensity.
From underground favorite to international force, NGHTMRE isn’t just a name—it’s a sound, a presence, and an unstoppable movement.
