Procedures

Protection & Clean-Up

To maintain a competitive advantage, Operation Glow (OG) will not release specific procedures, tools, or material information regarding protection or clean-up. This release is only meant to provide Host with a high level understanding of our protection and clean-up procedures.

The following is only for liquid physical effects such as OG UV paint and OG UV foam.

  • OG paint is washable for up to 6 hours and made of 98% water.
  • No food coloring or other damaging materials are use in the paint. Please consult SDS for exact ingredients.
  • OG paint and OG foam is non-toxic, biodegradable, and cosmetically designed to be in contact with tissues.

Indoor Events

Pre-Event Preparation

  • The amount of precautionary preparation undertaken prior to the event is thoroughly discussed between OG and location management. The amount and type of protection varies from location to location, floor type to floor type, and wall type to wall type. Pictures of the venue and dimensions are appreciated weeks before the event commences.
  • Venues have the following options: Wall Protection and Floor Protection. While some venue management personnel feel more comfortable covering large areas of the venue in protection, OG has found that excessive use of protection is not always necessary.
  • On the day of the event, OG will implement the procedure specific to the venue that is ultimately decided between the location management and OG. All exposed furniture, electronics, fixtures, etc. will be shielded.

Post-Event Clean-Up

  • Cleaning will commence immediately after the event. Any venue protection will be safely removed and discarded. All fluid effects will be picked up. The entire area will then be cleaned a second time.
  • For OG Paint events, staff will UV inspect the area to ensure no trace will be left. UV allows OG crew to see what a normal eye cannot.
  • Adhering to this methodology will ensure the venue’s original condition is quickly restored and ready for business as usual the following day.

Outdoor Events

Pre-Event Preparation

  • The amount of precautionary preparation required for an outdoor event is minimal. Any provided staging, tables, etc. will be immediately protected. The tent (if one exists) does not need protection and will be cleaned in the Post-Event Clean-Up.

Post-Event Clean-Up

  • Cleaning will commence after OG equipment has been removed from the location.
  • All protection will be removed and discarded. If a tent exists, OG will clean the exposed areas.
  • The fluid effects on the ground may or may not be visible but will be left to wash away naturally.
  • For OG Paint events, staff will UV inspect the tent to ensure no trace will be left. UV allows OG crew to see what a normal eye cannot.
